Sorry, no pets allowed, except for our in-house furry friend, Bono! He’s a staff favourite and loves greeting guests in the restaurant. If you’ve got a pet at home, we’ll miss them, but Bono’s keeping an eye on things here!

You’ve got options! If you’re up for an adventure, take the 16km gravel road from Albertinia – it’s scenic and worth the drive. Or take the N2 turnoff at Mosdustria and add a bit more time to your journey, but enjoy the extra comfort of sealed roads. Either way, we’re excited to welcome you to Jakkalsvlei!

Get ready for a grape escape!  Hanepoot picking season is a fun event, and it usually happens for 1-2 weeks in February or early March– exact dates vary yearly, so stay tuned! Join us for a unique experience where you bring your scissors, sun hat, comfy shoes, and a container, and pick your own Hanepoot grapes. Pay per kilogram and take home the sweetness!
